Attending a public graduation ceremony is a huge step in your graduation event. Therefore, we’ll make every effort to have the ceremony scheduled in person for you to travel and receive your graduation diploma in person. The university makes those decisions annually, and all students will be notified ahead of time. The university will issue an invitation letter to all students to be used when applying for VISA. However, the decision to grant a travel VISA rests with the United States Department of State. Please check the State Department website:
- Department of State guidance—
- Visa application processes and an online tool to check visa appointment wait times https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html
- Information about preparing for the interview https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html#overview
Those unable to attend the ceremony in person or obtain a VISA to the United States will have the chance to participate in an online ceremony and will be notified before scheduling the ceremony.
